Ballet feast

The Poly Theater will offer a feast of Russian ballet throughout the Spring Festival holiday, featuring the ever-popular Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and Nutcracker, as part of the 10th anniversary of the Spring of Ballet performance season.

As a special treat all children will be admitted.

Irish dance

Riverdance, the dance extravaganza from Ireland will present a show featuring traditional Irish tap dance that combines elements from Spanish Flamenco, classical ballet and modern dance and features the glorious history of Ireland.

The show premiered in Dublin in 15 years ago, and has toured more than 90 cities.

Joint show

The Iberia Center for Contemporary Art's recently launched Toyota Art Project, will present Asian Landmarks for Art, an exhibition of some 30 works by 20 artists from the mainland and Taiwan.

The exhibited oil and acrylic paintings, videos, sculptures, and installations explore the relation between man, machine and nature, says curator Xia Jifeng.

City scenes in ink

Beijing-born ink artist Zhao Zhunwang has spent years capturing street scenes, residents, and landscapes in the city and its suburban counties. More than 200 majestic ink works by the 61-year-old artist are on an exhibition tour of Beijing, and Dongcheng District Art Center is its first stop.
