The exhibition, which ends with this month, is part of a grand series of China-themed cultural events currently underway in Israel, namely "Experience China in Israel."
As one of the biggest cultural events ever held in the host nation, the project is co-sponsored by the State Council Information Office of China and the Israeli Foreign Ministry, and is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 17th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
With the purpose of acquainting more Israelis with China and thus enhancing mutual understanding and bilateral ties, the series of events, which conclude at the end of this month, also include artistic performances, a Chinese film week and a symposium on China, Israel and the world economy.
