The drama She Came From Beijing combines a stand-up comedy with a musical, and features Perry Chiu and Tat-ming Cheung, two popular Hong Kong artists, famous for their bold performances.
The play has been described as "a girl's odyssey through life against a backdrop of existential angst peppered with episodes of profound sadness but also moments of intense joy". It will have 25 classic songs by Faye Wong, one of the most popular pop singers of Hong Kong, as background music.

Directed by Broadway director Joel Bishoff, I Love You, is adapted from a well-received off-Broadway show. It is a dramatic musical featuring two romantic couples. Dubbed as "the Best Dating Show" by Time Out and "the Most Amusing Light Musical" by New York Times, the performance is accompanied by just the piano and violin.

CONCERT
Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra will dedicate the 2009-10 Music Season Opening Gala to the 60th Anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China, in conjunction with Shanghai Opera House Chorus and Tie Mei, a Sichuan opera singer.
The three songs - Ode to Kapok, Humen 1839 and Beauty of China, which salute Chinese people's persistence and heroic spirit, will be presented in different musical styles.

Exhibition
To commemorate the 130th birth anniversary of Gao Jianfu (1879-1951), the Guangzhou Museum of Art is organizing a display of Gao's works.
Gao expanded the scope and depth of traditional Chinese painting by adopting Western painting methods and probing real-life subjects.
