By the joint efforts of the government and the public, the various forms of traditional cultures in Tibet have been well protected and promoted. However, the government also realizes that to maintain the continuing development of Tibetan culture, there still remains work to be done.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the democratic reform in Tibet. In the years following the reform, China's central government has drawn up specific laws and regulations and invested a large amount of manpower and funds to preserve Tibetan cultural heritage. Only by maintaining the momentum while persisting in innovation, will the preservation works and development of the Tibetan culture achieve huge success.
