Strengthening the Protection of Cultural Relics
It’s hard to stop the loss of cultural relics if we don’t eliminate smuggling. Strict restrictions and relevant laws and regulations are needed to strengthen the protection of cultural relics. What’s more education can also be served as an effective tool in increasing people’s awareness of cherishing our national treasures and preventing them from being smuggled.
To treasure the existing national cultural antiques with a positive attitude, we should notice that, with the yearly increase of tourists in scenic spots during golden weeks, many cultural relics are damaged to some extent. We absolutely have the responsibility and right to retrieve the looted and smuggled national treasures, but presently we also need to pay great attention to existing national cultural relics to keep them from damage since they are irreplaceable, once they are destroyed, they will be lost forever.
