Bus connections are available at downtown Wuyishan, and travelers can also take a taxi for 150 yuan (US$17) per day, return trip included. There are small hotels in the downtown.

  Facts to know

Many places, such as Lanfeng Pagoda, "Bai Mi Xia Guo" waterfall, and the Peng Family's ancient dwelling, are places that cannot be missed. The annual Langu folk gala "Bai Zhu Qiao" is held on December 13 according to the lunar calendar. It is a tradition from the Tang Dynasty (618-907), when hundreds of "candle bridges", "candle wheels" and "candle pavilions" go parading along the street.
