The Head Office of China Youth Travel Service, under the Communist Youth League of China, is one of the three largest travel agencies in China. In 1988, China Youth Travel Service Group was founded. China CYTS Tours Holding Co., Ltd. is a limited liability company set up with raised funds and the sponsorship of China Youth Travel Service that was founded in 1980. Established on November 26, 1997, China CYTS Tours Holding Co., Ltd. was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange on December 3 of the same year. It was China's first travel agency to list A share. It raised RMB394.2 million through IPO (Initial Public Offering) planning. In June 2000, the company raised another RMB324 million through rights issue.

The Head Office of China Youth Travel Service provides inbound, outbound and domestic travels and at the same time enlarges its business scope to many industries such as hotel, restaurant, entertainment, travel transport, aviation, trade, commercial retail, real estate and some other high-tech industries.

Till now, China Youth Travel Service has established its long and steady cooperation relation with more than 1,000 travel agencies from nearly 60 countries, with representative offices in Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul and Hong Kong.
