A harmonious voice in Asia is composed, beyond the territory boundary and beyond the nations.

The Asian Orchestra, composed with the traditional musical instruments of China, Korea and Japan, is an unprecedented symphony orchestra extending to different nations, entirely different from Western orchestra.

The Asian Orchestra was founded in September 1993 in Seoul, Korea by those musicians in China, Japan and Korea enthusiastically devoted to mutual exchanges. This year, it ushers in the ninth year.

The musical instruments played by the Asian Orchestra, introduced to Japan and Korean from China in the ancient time, have their respective tradition and individual character with historical changes and respective improvement. The long-cherished wish of the Asian Orchestra is to maintain the individualities of these musical instruments and to create the unique tone colors of Asia.

It is believed that the music with the special features of the Asian Orchestra will be loved by the Japanese audience.
