China's Silk over 5,000 Years, an exhibition of the country's silk culture at
the Russian Historical Museum, will mark the closing of the festival.
A silk embroidery handicraft named "Lion King" is one of
the most extraordinary works to be displayed at the exhibition. It's made by
Xinchang Dali Silk Company, a silk producer based in Shaoxing, East China's
Zhejiang Province. Dali has invited famous embroidery craftsmen from Suzhou to design the product, and it took one year
to complete it. The lion looks quite lively, so the experts from
China Silk Museum selected it at the first glance for "Year of
China".
