The 8th Asia Arts Festival (AAF) opened on August 31 in Beijing . The opera performances, arts exhibitions and music activities, come from every Asian country will start successively.

In the morning of 31st, the Asian (10+3) Art Museum Directors Forum opened on the China Arts Museum. The directors and experts of 10 ASEAN countries and Korea, Japan and China, started the three-day discussion. The grand art exhibition of "era encounter: the Southeast Asia fine arts exhibition of Singapore art museum collections" also opened in the China Arts Museum, displayed many works of famous artists. In addition, at the Yanhuan Art Museum, also displayed 10 ASEAN countries traditional handcrafts, and showing their folk songs and dance, which are all attract a lot of attention of the audiences.

Fan Di'an, the Director of China Art Museum, introduced the developing location of the China Art Museum. He said, this Asian Art Museum Directors Forum is not conservative，which aimed at strengthening the cultural exchange among the Asian countries. At present, our Art Museum has some difficulties, and through this forum, may absorb some experiences of other countries and find some solutions.
