The "Theme Conference of Asian (10＋3) Art Museum Directors Forum" ,sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and China Arts Gallery, holding in Beijing today, which will end in Sept.2.

The secretary-general of this forum, Chen Lusheng introduced that, 47 Asian museum directors and principals first convening in China to take part in the three-day Asian Arts Museum forum. The attendants of the Forum come from the 10 ASEAN member countries and Korea, Japan and China, aimed at unite every Asian countries to discuss the contemporary Asian arts questions, and research the common and the especial questions they faced in terms of collecting, exhibiting and researching. There are three main events during the Forum: the curator's forum, the science forum and a special forum.

China Art Gallery will conduct two special exhibitions, the "era encounter: the Southeast Asia fine arts exhibition of Singapore art museum collections" and the "International design invited exhibition of China Art Gallery", which make the " Green Olympic Games · international poster design" as the theme, and 27 international famous designers has been invited to display their 133 pieces of artworks.

In order to ensure effectiveness and continuity of the Forum, the meeting will adopt "the resolution of the theme Conference of ASEAN, China, Japan and South Korea. Besides, it will also determine the next holding place of the Forum, so that let the forum continuing and developing.
