In the evening of Aug.31 and Sep.1, two grand opening performance of "Bravo! ASEAN" of the 8th AAF will staged ceremoniously at the Beijing Exhibition Theatre. Artistic treasures of the 10 ASEAN countries will become the focus on the stage. Before the performance opened, reporter interviewed with the director Ding Wei.
On the one hand, Ding take River as the metaphor, the opening performance will connect the different arts of the ASEAN countries and China, like the different rivers' junction. So that realized the link of the geographical River with the cultural river.

On the other hand, director Ding said, he will use multimedia technique to display a scene that a blob of water from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau inflow to other rivers in different time of one day and eventually flows from China into the South Pacific. In the course, we can see different countries' beautiful life and various traditional arts, such as our countries' traditional dance, music, Laos' and Malaysian folk dance, the modern dance of Singapore, and so on.
