This morning, 47 Asian museum directors and principals first convening in China to take part in the three-day Asian art Museum forum, which is one activity of the Asian Arts Festival opened today. Xiao Yong, a designer of the medals of Beijing 2008 Olympic Meeting, especially designed a logo for the Forum.

The attendant of the "Theme Conference of Asian (10＋3) Art Museum Directors Forum" come from the 10 ASEAN member countries and Korea, Japan and China. Chen Lusheng, the Secretary-General and the researcher of China Art Gallery, introduced that the difficulties to organize the top forum, which spent one year to ready. The forum aimed at unite every Asian countries to discuss the contemporary Asian arts questions, and research the common and the especial questions they faced in terms of collecting, exhibiting and researching. There are three main events during the Forum: the curator's forum, the science forum and a special forum.

China Art Gallery will conduct three exhibitions, which respectively are the "era encounter: the Southeast Asia fine arts exhibition of Singapore art museum collections" the " Green Olympic Games · international poster design" and the "International design invited exhibition of China Art Gallery".
