For memorialize the 15th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN Dialogue Relationship, to exhibit the glorious culture and art wonders created by ASEAN peoples, the "Asian Wonders - Art Exhibition of ASEAN", sponsored by China's Ministry of Culture and supported by China Eternal Art Exhibition Center, was opened at the Yanhuang Art Museum in Beijing on Aug. 31. Ong Keng Yong, the Secretary-General of ASEAN, and every ambassador of ASEAN member countries in China, all attended the opening ceremony.

The ASEAN countries were boasting their own centuries-old cultural traditions and unique features in terms of style, forms, language, and aesthetic and artistic conceptions. Their handicrafts been praised the live traditions, the reappearance of life and psychic fortune. There are over 500 traditional handicraft articles were displayed in the 2nd floor of Yanhuang Art Museum, where have 10 exhibiting districts for10 countries. The exhibition not only shows the diversity of indigenous cultures of different Asian countries, but also embodies their common characteristics.

A week-long exhibition will be closed on September 6.
