The 8th Asia Arts Festival (AAF) will be held from August 31 to September 6 in Beijing. The Festival will hold four main activities, namely, the grand performance of "Bravo! ASEAN" jointly staged by ASEAN and Chinese artists, the "Theme Conference of Asian (10＋3) Art Museum Directors Forum", "Asian Wonders - Art Exhibition of ASEAN", and "The 2nd NEACH & (10＋3) Cultural Personnel Resource Development and Cooperation Training Class"

Ten countries performing for "Bravo! ASEAN"

The Asia Art Festival, as the first regional international art festival held by China, get its birth in 1998. The 8th AAF will increase the modern art contents. In stage performances, the artists of the ten ASEAN member countries will joint staged for "Bravo! ASEAN" in the theater of Beijing Exhibition Center on the evening of August 31 and September 1. Every ASEAN country will display their most wonderful performing.

Asian Art Museum Directors discuss the modern art

Asian arts have distinctive characteristics in modeling features and style. The Ministry of Culture planed "the ASEAN Culture Week" during the AAF, and the Asian Wonders - Art Exhibition of ASEAN will be held in Yanhuang Art Center on August 31. The most representative traditional arts will be displayed on here.

In this AAF, "Theme Conference of Asian (10＋3) Art Museum Directors Forum" will be held. Fan Di'an, the Director of China Art Museum said, this will promote the common development of the Asian Art Museum.

The Secretary General of ASEAN and the ASEAN's senior officials of the Ministry of Culture in china and etc will attend the AAF.
