The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, spoke
highly of the Sino-Russia Friendship Tour when he was interviewed by the tour's
team of Chinese reporters in Moscow on Tuesday.
As one of the important events commemorating the Year of Russia in China,
Sergey Lavrov said the tour has helped to deepen mutual understanding between
the people of the two nations.
He also thanked China Radio International's efforts as the main sponsor of
the tour to propel friendly relations between China and Russia.

Friendship Tour set out from Tiananmen Square in Beijing in late July, heading for the Red Square in Moscow
The team members have driven a dozen of SUVs across Asia and Europe, passing
through some 20 cities in China and Russia, including New Siberia, Kazan and St
Petersburg.
Around 40 journalists from China's State media organizations, including China
Radio International, China Central Television and Xinhua News Agency, participated.
