The film is said to contain 30 episodes, with over 3,500 3D models of the precious fleet, figures, and scenes of Zheng He's voyages to the western seas. The film is scheduled for screening in June this year.

The documentary, which includes six 50-minute episodes, will be shot both at home and abroad at the same time by the creative group from both CCTV and the Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, and will be produced according to the standards and criteria for making international first-class documentaries.

In commemoration of the 600th Anniversary of Zheng He's great voyages, Shanghai Magma Digital Company has developed a special game named "Zheng He's Voyages to the Western Seas," which is meant to represent the scene of Zheng He's voyages during the Yongle period (1405 AD during the reign of Emperor Yongle) of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Altogether, 23 port cities, 24 trade products, and 11 ships are available in the game, which will help you experience the feeling of sailing the sea with Zheng He.

The goal of the game is to fulfill the task of promoting peaceful foreign diplomacy as well as official trade as told by the Ming emperor according to the hints given by the system. Before starting the voyage, players should first make some preparations, such as recruiting sailors, making ships, purchasing military equipment and so on. Players should also keep their ears open for any important information the government might offer from time to time.
