14,000 love poems bring originality to the festival

The Awards Ceremony of "Shenyuan Cup" China Love Poetry Contest was held in Shenyuan of Shaoxing on the night of September 22.

China Love Poem Contest sponsored by Chinese Poetry Academy and Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Relics, received 14,000 love poems from home and abroad between June 10 and August 25. The eldest participator is 92 years old while the youngest is only 8 years old. Their works pay enormous tributes to love and life.

Wang Chennong, 82 years old from Hunan Province, won the first prize with the poem "No Title", which was highly praised by the audience.
