'Stars' shines in Ningbo

The musical special performance and the prize-awarding ceremony of the
Thirteenth Stars Award will be held in Ningbo
on September 21 and 25 respectively.
** Musical special performance
The final contest of the musical special performance will be held in the
Qiuai Cinema on September 21. It is the first time that the contest of the
Thirteenth Stars Award is carried out in the cinema of villages and towns. The
reason is not only that the Qiuai Cinema has equipments with high quality, but
also Qiuai is one of the experimental units of national cultural reform.
30 programs from 24 groups will participate in the contest, which is divided
into three categories including the elder, adult and children. According to the
organizing committee, the dramas are rich in daily life scenes, which is the
highlight of the dramas. Compared with the professional stage design, they are
much natural, simple and vivid. Three dramas from Zhejiang
Province will participate in the contest.
** Prize-awarding ceremony
The prize-awarding ceremony of the Thirteenth Stars Award is the important
part of the activities that Ningbo undertakes during the Seventh China Arts
Festival. 105 Stars Awards in seven categories and three groups, Excellent Work
Award and other awards will be produced on the night of September 25.
