'A Family of Book Collection' reflects the culture of book collection

The Yueju Opera "A Family of Book Collection", which is created on the basis of the Tianyi Pavilion, the oldest book collection building in China, was performed in Hangzhou Theater on September 23, as the candidate play for Wenhua Award, attracting more than 1,500 audiences.

"A Family of Book Collection" breaks through the traditional Yueju Opera, which always pay attention to the gifted scholars and beautiful ladies. It reflects the deep-rooted culture of book collection, expanding the themes of the Yueju Opera.

The stage of the "A Family of Book Collection" is simple but delicate, with numerous props. It is said that each book in the Tianyi Pavilion is carved, and several trucks are used to carry the props.
