'The Waking of Insects' applauded

The Quju Opera "The Waking of Insects" presented by the Henan Nanyang Quju Opera Troupe was performed in Shaoju Opera Art Center last night. It attracted all the audiences with a unique angle of view, plumpy figures and lyric music.

Loud applauses during the whole performance broke out more than 20 times. Li Jinming, Chairman of Zhejiang Political Consultative Conference and other leaders watched the performance with the ordinary audiences.

"The Waking of Insects" is the second local opera from Henan Province that is staged in the Seventh China Arts Festival.

After the performance, Li Jinming said it is worthy of celebration that "The Waking of Insects" by the Henan Nanyang Quju Opera Troupe enters into the national arts festival.
