Press release for the closing ceremony held in Hangzhou

The closing ceremony of the Seventh China Arts Festival will be held in Shaoxing on September 26. The preparation work is ready now.

News conference of the closing ceremony was held in Zhejiang Great Hall of the People September 16. Leaders of Shaoxing government introduced the preparative work.

The closing ceremony with the theme of "the reunion of art and people" is divided into two parts -- the 45-minute long prize-awarding ceremony presided by Pu Cunxin and Zhu Yuanyuan and the 80-minute long performance of Shao Opera "Real and Fake Monkey King". The Wenhua Award for various programs will be disclosed at the ceremony.

The director of the closing ceremony is Zhao Ming, who also directed dance drama "Farewell My Concubine". Stage arts designer is Zhang Jiwen and the emcees are Pu Cunxin and Zhu Yuanyuan. The prize-awarding ceremony will be concluded in the song and dance "Please remember tonight, please remember Shaoxing".

In addition, 100 sightseeing boats' cruise around Shaoxing city, Shaoxing Pyrotechnic Evening, and square welcoming activity will be held on September 26.
