1. Time of the Seventh China Arts Festival

The Seventh China Arts Festival will open in Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province on September 10, 2004, which lasts 16 days.

2. Scale of the Seventh China Arts Festival:

1) 50 candidate plays for various awards of the festival will be performed. Some other plays are also invited to celebrate the feast of arts, and some performances of excellent stagecraft are also organized.

Inviting some excellent performances by art groups from Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan as well as from abroad to participate in the festival, including plays that have been in cultural exchanging programs of the Ministry of Culture and plays from the international friendly cities of Zhejiang.

Organizing 5 mass cultural performances, as well as other mass cultural activities in various forms of Square Culture, Community Culture and Campus culture.

Organizing exhibitions, seminars and recreational activities of a certain scale.

Organizing trade and tourism activities in various forms.

2) About 13,300 guests are invited to participate in the Seventh China Arts Festival, including 7,500 performing actors / actresses from domestic professional art groups, 800 performers for the mass cultural activities, 600 experts and juries, 1,600 performers and honored guests from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and abroad, about 800 journalists, and about 2,000 people concerned. About 10,000 people will watch the art gala at their own expenses, and 10,000 people will participate in various trade activities.
