Zhejiang Great Hall of the People

The Zhejiang Great Hall of the People, built and put into use in December 2002, is located at No. 9 Shengfu Road of Hangzhou city, at the foot of Baoshi Mountain and beside the Xizi Lake. It is mainly divided into six areas: the main assembly room, the international conference hall, the conference hall of the People's Congress Standing Committee, the conference hall of all districts and cities, the banquet hall and the entertainment area, etc.

The main assembly room is for conferences -- sometimes serving as the stage for art performances, with the People's Square, the Culture Square and the Charm Square surrounding it.

With a construction area of 8,357 square meters, the Zhejiang Great Hall of the People has accommodation for 1,577 audiences, serving as a place for various conferences, performances, exhibitions, film shows and entertainment.
