On the afternoon of July 28th, a splendid performance is going on at the Yefu Theater in Ningbo of Zhejiang Province, given jointly by the Students' Young Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra from Korea and the Students' Art Troupe of Ningbo City. The performance starts with Johann Strauss' March of Radestzky, given by the Korean students. Then the young performers of the Students' Art Troupe of Ningbo give a performance of dancing and instrumental ensemble with pipa (a plucked string instrument with a fretted fingerboard). The violin solo of The Moon Represents My Heart and Sweet and Sweet given by the Korean student brings the whole performance to a climax. After the performance, the students of China and Korea exchange gifts. According to the person in charge of Korean Culture and Teaching Co. Ltd., the sponsor of this activity, the performance given by the Korean students in Ningbo is for the purpose of promoting the cultural exchanges between Korea and China so as to let the students in Ningbo know more about the Korean culture as well as to provide the Korean students with an opportunity for exchanges and studies.
