A photo show of China in Focus '99 is open on Novembers 20th, 2000 in Moscow. Wu Tao, Chinese Ambassador to Russia, and the people from all walks of life in Russia, over 100 people in total, participate in the opening ceremony.

The photo show displays 72 photos taken by 13 Russian photographers and other foreign photographers. For letting the people in various countries have an even direct and even complete understanding of China, the Chinese Ministry of Culture specially invited these 13 international photography masters to various parts of China last year for a trip and creation of photographic works. Their masterpieces are compiled into a photo album named China in Focus '99.

This photo show will be closed on November 30th. As planned, the show will be held on a tour display in other 10 cities in Russia.
