Located in the south of Anhui Province, the scenic area covers an area of 154 sq. km. The renowned Four Wonders of Mt. Huangshan are the odd-shaped pines, spectacular rocks, hot springs and sea of clouds. Its beautiful scenery has made Mt. Huangshan known as the wonder of the world. In 1990, it was listed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.

Mt. Huangshan abounds in its plant and animal resources as well as the water resources, it also boasts of its specific culture. Mt. Huangshan is the birthplace of traditional Chinese landscape painting. In addition, Mt. Huangshan is an important center for the study of the Quaternary Period.
