For coordinating the visit of the Cultural Delegation of the Chinese Government to visit India headed by Pan Zhenzhou, Vice Minister of the Chinese Cultural Ministry, a photo show of the Republic's Album of 2000~2001 is held in New Delhi with the cooperation between the Cultural Department of Chinese Embassy in India and the Cultural Ministry of India from November 12~16.
On November 12th, the photo show of Republic's Album of 2000~2001 was held at the Indian National Industrial Art Gallery in New Delhi. Pan Zhenzhou, Vice Minister of the Chinese Cultural Ministry, the Secretary of Indian Ministry of Culture, and Hua Junduo, Chinese Ambassador to India, participated at the opening ceremony and lighted the lamps. In his speech, Vice Minister Pan emphasized the traditional friendship between the peoples of China and India and pointed out that the significance of this photo show was to let the Indian people have a better understanding of China and to promote the cultural exchanges between the two countries. He expressed his appreciation for the assistance and cooperation given by the Cultural Ministry of the Indian Government and the Indian National Industrial Art Gallery.
For several continuous days, the audiences visiting the photo show have all been surprised at the progress and prosperity of China today and expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the Chinese people.
