The Chinese photo show of Republic's Album of 2000~2001 jointly sponsored by the Minister of Culture of Jordan and the Embassy of China in Jordan opens on the night of December 26th, 2001 at the Royal Cultural Center at Amman. The Secretary General of the Cultural Ministry of Jordan and Chinese Ambassador Chen Yonglong to Jordan participate in the opening ceremony.

This photo show, lasting for 10 days, displays 100 pictures, reflecting the important events occurring in recent years, the great achievements made in the fields of politics, economy, society, culture, science and technology, and the new looks of people's life in China.

Over 100 people from all walks of life and the diplomatic envoys stationing in Jordan participate in the opening ceremony and view the photographs with great interest. Some Jordanian friends say after viewing the pictures that the photos on display are excellent, making every visitor know the great achievements made by China in recent years.
