The photo show of the Republics' Album of 2000~2001 made for reflecting the development and achievements of China in the past year is shown on October 26th, 2001 in the second China Town in New York, lasting for a week. The audience from the community, Chinese and foreigners, view the 100 exquisitely made photos on display. These photos re-appear the important changes of politics, economy and people's life in China from unique angles of view in an all-round way.

The opening ceremony is conducted by Zhu Haifeng, Honorary Chairman of Wenzhou General Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Zhao Huimin, Vice Consul General of China in New York, and Liang Guanjun, Lin Dexian, Wu Kai, Sang Xiuren and Lu Meilin,leaders of overseas Chinese, participate in the opening ceremony and deliver speeches successively. They think the photo show makes the people approach China once again and once again have an understanding of China from different levels.

Before this show, it was once displayed in the Center of Asian Culture at Mid-Manhattan and earned favorable comment.
