A photo show of the World Heritage in China sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia was opened here on the 27th, warmly welcomed by the Malaysian people.
Malaysian Vice Minister of Education said at the opening ceremony that the photos on display revealed world-level cultural heritage, giving the Malaysian people an opportunity to widen their horizon and conducing to friendly contacts between the peoples of Malaysia and China.
Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Hu Zhengye pointed out that the history of friendly association between the two countries could be traced far back and the cultural association could serve as a tie linking the peoples of the two countries.
The 60 photos mounted on crystal frames displayed 27 world heritage sites in China including the Great Wall, the Imperial Palace, the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang, the terra cotta soldiers and horses of the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty, etc.
