To mark the 30th anniversary of the restoration of China's legal seat in the United Nations, a photo show of the World Heritage in China, co-sponsored by Chinese Embassy in Iraq and Iraqi Ministry of Culture, opened here on December 18th.

The weeklong show displays 60 entrancing photos focusing on well-known historic sites listed by UNESCO as the world cultural heritage in China. Among them are the Great Wall, the terra cotta soldiers and horses of the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty, Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang, etc.

Chinese Ambassador Zhang Weiqiu and Iraqi Minister of Culture Hamadi cut the ribbon for the opening ceremony. People from the Iraqi cultural and information circles, and some foreign diplomats attended the ceremony.
