At the opportune time that the United Nations Economic and Social Council was holding an international meeting, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand held a two-week photo show called World Heritage in China at the council's head office starting from Dec. 10th, 2001. Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Council Kim She Jue and representatives of the countries participating in the meeting visited the show. Local media made reports about the event.

From November 28th to December 6th, a photo show was held at Bangkok's Yi Sen Tsang University, which evoked enthusiastic responses and attracted as many as 30,000 visitors.
