To mark the 30th anniversary of the restoration of China's legal seat in the United Nations, Chinese Embassy in Singapore opened a photo show of the World Heritage in China on the 12th. More than 100 people from the cultural, press, industrial and business circles in Singapore attended the opening ceremony.
The weeklong show displays 55 entrancing photos focusing on 27 UNESCO cultural and natural heritage sites in China.
Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Zhang Jiuhuan said at the opening ceremony that China's cultural and natural heritage is a treasure belonging not only to China but also to the whole mankind and that it helps to link China up with other parts of the world. He hopes that the show can be conducive to further understanding of China's history and culture and he welcomes Singaporean people to come to China for a survey.
