Photo Show of World Heritage in China in Alger

To mark the 30th anniversary of the restoration of China's legal seat in the United Nations, a photo show of World Heritage in China co-sponsored by Chinese Embassy in Algeria and Algerian Ministry of Information and Culture was opened on the 23rd at Alger Cultural Palace.

On display are 60 exquisite photos featuring the splendid culture and spectacular landscape of the 27 UNESCO cultural and natural heritage sites. Among the noteworthy ones are the Great Wall, the Imperial Palace, the terra cotta soldiers and horses of the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty, Dunhuang Grottoes, Huangshan Mountain, Jiuzhagou and Wuyi Mountain. The show is to last a week.

Chinese Ambassador to Algeria Zheng Aquan and Algerian Minister of Information and Culture Mohammed Abu cut the ribbon for the opening ceremony. More than 300 people including Algeria Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Amar Sahri and people in Algerian press and cultural circles attended the ceremony.
