A photo show of the World Heritage in China, co-sponsored by Chinese Embassy in Slovakia and Slovakia Ministry of Culture, was held in Slovakia's capital Bratislava. The show was greeted with a warm welcome from the local residents who came in a bursting number.
The show was held to mark the 30th anniversary of the restoration of China's legal seat in the United Nations. At Bratislava's Slovakia National Museum, 60 colorful photos vividly depicted spectacular charms of 27 UNESCO cultural and natural heritage sites. Visitors, attracted by China's splendid culture and photosque landscape, said they wished to make a tour of China if there was an opportunity. Many from other parts of the country were contacting Chinese Embassy in Czech, asking for the show to be held in their places.
The opening ceremony of World Heritage in China photo show was held in Bratislava on January 31st. Chinese Ambassador to Czech Yuan Guiseng and wife, Slovakia Foreign Minister's wife Kukanova, officials from Slovakia Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture, foreign diplomats in Slovakia, and friends from all walks of life, amounting to over 200, attended the meeting. The show is to last till February 24th.
