Photo Show of World Heritage in China and China in Focus Held in Tokyo

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic China to Japan Wu Dawei hosted a reception in Tokyo on September 25th in celebration of the 53rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 30th anniversary of normalization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations. Over 2,000 guests were present on the occasion on invitation. An on-site photo show of World Heritage in China and China in Focus -- China in the Eye of Foreign Photographers was given. The guests enthusiastically watched the exhibits before the reception started.

The guests bestowed praise on the gigantic changes resulted from China's reform and opening-up policy. They were filled with admiration for China's long-standing culture and spectacular landscape.

Before this, a World Heritage in China photo show was held at Japan's Fukuyama Ink and Wash Painting Museum, much welcomed by local residents. Song Jian, visiting deputy chairman of the CPPCC National Committee as well as president of Sino-Japan Friendship Association came to have a look around the show.
