Chinese Embassy in Japan held a film reception on the afternoon of 26th for the opening of the serial activities of Chinese Year.

The cultural attaché of Chinese Embassy in Japan Zhang Aiping said at the reception that it is 30th anniversary of normalization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations this year and is a memorable year for people of both countries. He expressed his belief that through the serial activities cultural exchanges and mutual understanding of the two countries will be further strengthened.

At the reception Japanese friendly people from all circles, about 200 in number, watched Chinese film My Father and My Mother. Many are moved to tears by the truthful and unsophisticated love of the male and female protagonists over 40 years.

At the end of show lots of audience wrote comments on the audience book to the effect that the film not only depicts the magnificence of China's natural scenery but also reveals the touching scene of how Chinese people cherish true love and value life.
