Fujian Opera Troupe Visits Japan

Founded in 1984, Fujian Peking Opera Troupe has constantly based on inheriting and carrying forward traditional art, aiming at promoting operatic art and serving society through reform and bringing forth new ideas. To date the troupe has performed around 400 modern Peking operas created on their own in different historic periods and has formed their own style and unique features. They have made bold attempts in working out list of operas, directing technique, setting off acting skills by contrast with music and stage art, and absorbing quintessence from companion art forms.
