To celebrate 30th anniversary of normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan and the 10th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and ROK, 14th Kisiko International Exchange Concert performed by Chinese, Japanese and Korean artists was held at Tokyo Iida Concert Hall. Japanese royal kinsman Hitachinomiya and wife and president of Asian Women Friendship Society Miki Mutsuko attended the concert. The splendid performance of the musicians was well received by a full audience of 600-plus from various circles in Japan.

Before the performance, chief of Cultural Council of Korean Embassy in Japan, cultural attaché with the rank of envoy of Chinese Embassy in Japan, chief of US Cultural Center and special director of Japanese Operation Committee of 2002 Japanese Year and Chinese Year each made a speech. The piano solo Moonlit Night on the Spring River played by the Central onservatory of Music Department of Piano and the vocal solo I Live at the Head of Yangtze River sung by soprano Zhao Fei won warm applause from the full audience.

The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Embassy in Japan, Korean Cultural Council of Korean Embassy in Japan, US Cultural Center, Japan-China Friendship Association, Japan-China Cultural Exchange Society, and Japan-China Society backed the concert.
