To mark 30th anniversary of normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, a 34-person group from Dalian Acrobatic Troupe gave a brilliant acrobatic performance on the evening of October 4 at Japan's Matsudo Shi Citizen Guild Hall and was warmly welcomed by an audience of over 1,000. President of Matsudo International Exchange Society Iinuma Makoto and cultural attache with the rank of envoy of Chinese Embassy in Japan Zhang Aiping watched the performance and each made a speech.

The Dalian Acrobatic Troupe has taken a special trip to Japan this time to give performances in Chiba because Tokyo's Tama Sanrikamome Musical Ensemble happens to be there putting on show. The troupe thought it is a good opportunity for them. The phenomenal feats they demonstrated in such acrobatic item as Rolling Cups, Twirling Diabolo, Handstand, Water Meteor Juggling Co-Performer with the Feet, and Trick Cycling won thunderous applause from the audience. It is reported that part of the proceeds shall be contributed to Project Hope.

The Cultural Office of Chinese Embassy in Japan, Matsudo International Exchanges Society and Matsudo Education Commission backed the performances.
