China Handicapped Art Troupe to Give Performances in Japan

To celebrate 30th anniversary of normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, a 50-person group from China Handicapped Art Troupe came to Japan at the invitation of Japan's Japan-China Press to give performances in Nagoya, Tokyo, Sapporo and other places from October 1st to 10th.

On October 9th, China Handicapped Art Troupe staged a comprehensive song and dance program entitled My Dream at Tokyo's Bunkio District City Theater. Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan Wu Dawei's wife Mao Yaping, who is counselor of Chinese Embassy in Japan, watched the performance on behalf of her husband. Permanent Director of Japan-China Cultural Exchanges Society and noted film actress Kuhihara Komaki, former Minister of Postal Service, President of Liberal Democratic Tokyo Federation and Honorary President of Asia Handicapped Supporting Society Yashiro Ehta watched the performance, which was warmly received by the audience.

Chinese Embassy in Japan backed up the performance.
