On November 15th, the photo album publication congratulation party of Suzuki Katuyaki -- 18 Year Old Chinese Age and the Modern Art Show of Suzuki Katuyaki was held in Tokyo's Shibura Cultural Village. Distinguished Japanese dress designer Koshino Junko, the cultural officials from Chinese Embassy in Japan, China Industrial Art Society Delegation and people in all circles, nearly 200 in number, attended the party.

To mark 30th anniversary of normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, Modern Art Show of Suzuki Katuyaki was held in September in Beijing. Since his first visit to China in 1984, Suzuki has been to China 18 times during the past 18 years. He has held personal art show four times in Beijing, among which the one held in 1984 at China Art Gallery was warmly welcomed by Chinese people of the same line of business. In 1995 he became the first foreign member of Beijing Industrial Art Society. Thanks to his great artistic attainment and his efforts in promoting cultural exchanges between China and Japan, he was appointed first as director of China Industrial Art Society and then as managing director of Beijing Industrial Art Society.

To mark his visiting China and to sum up the cultural exchange activities he has conducted during the 18 years, Suzuki Katuyaki specially published the picture album Suzuki Katuyaki -- 18 Years Old Chinese Age on the occasion of 30th anniversary of normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan.

The Modern Art Show of Suzuki Katuyaki, which displays nearly 100 his latest works, will last till November 25.
