Introduction:
The West of China, vast in area and
picturesque in landscape, is the home of many ethnic groups. For
generations, these industrious and talented people have labored on this
soil. A great variety of ethnic cultures have been fostered here,
including their distinctive and colorful types of music marked with the
wit and humor of the local people. All the musical pieces are refreshing
like mountain flowers flourishing in the wildness.
