Appreciating the Details
 Builders were given many copper
coins while building the house. Wherever there was a gap between two bricks,
they would use a coin to fill it. They were allowed to keep the rest of the
coins, so the worker would try their best to build the walls as smoothly as
possible. Careful observers are likely to find a copper coin somewhere in the
gaps.
About 2 meters wide and more than 100 meters long, this stone
wall, named "Tiger's Skin Wall," is made from colorful stones of various sizes.
The stones make beautiful patterns of flowers considered auspicious.
The lane's surface is in the shape of the letter "U." The design
was intended to protect the groundwork of the buildings on each side of the lane
from being eroded by drainage .
