Nantianyizhu (a stele in the south mountain)

The fourth set of RMB, back of the 2-yuan note

Nanshanyizhu in the picture on the note is a huge stele standing erect in the sea. But in fact, Nanshanyizhu is currently on the beach of Hainan Island. Some meteorologists say that the scene on the back of the bill may soon come true due to global warming. Fan Yunti, who was head of Yazhou county during Xuantong 's reign dictated the inscription on the stele.

Wuxia Gorge

The Fourth set of RMB, back of the 5-yuan note

Wuxia Gorge is famous for its deep valley and high mountains. The gorge is 45km long, from the Daninghe River in Wushan County, to Guandukou in Badong County.

On a cruise down the Wuxia Gorge, tourists can see six of the 12 peaks lining the north bank, the Shengquan, Jixian, Songluan, Shennu, Zhaoyun and Denglong. Of the other six peaks on the south bank, three are visible, the Juhe, Cuiping and Feilong. Another three are hidden behind the peaks on the right of Qingshi Stream, a tributary of Yangtze River . The Shennu peak is the most famous one, but it is very small from the ship view.
