Chinese food lovers can eat to their heart's content thanks to a variety of Chinese restaurants to choose from like Peking, Sichuan and Shanghai cuisine s. Cantonese cuisine is very popular, as well as Macanese cuisine, a unique mix of Chinese and Portuguese flavors.

Although Cantonese and Macanese restaurants are ubiquitous, traditional Portuguese food is also popular. In addition there are numerous restaurants offering French, Japanese, Thailand, and Korean food.

,Ruins of St. Paul
The Ruins of St. Paul are actually the remnants of the Saint Paul Cathedral, which was built in 1637 and destroyed by fire in 1835. The Ruins of St. Paul have become a symbol of Macau and makes a great tourist destination.

,The Macau Tower
The 338-meter-high tower is the tallest in Macau and also the world's 10th tallest free standing tower. To attract more tourists, the city offers a free shuttle from the port to the tower. On the top of the tower, people can do tower climbing, take the skywalk or sky jump.

,Transportation fare
The standard taxi fare runs at MOP1 (RMB: 1.02 yuan) per 200 meters. The starting fee for the first 1,500 meters is MOP10 (RMB: 10.2 yuan).
Bus fare is MOP2.5 (RMB: 2.55 yuan) per person within the Macau Peninsula; MOP3.3 (RMB: 3.37 yuan) to Taipa Island; MOP4-5 (RMB: 4.08-5.1 yuan) to Coloane

Rua de Felicidade is packed with specialty snack stores, selling various delicacies ranging from Charqui, almond cookies, biscuits, plum, egg rolls, to peanut candies. Ku Kee and Choi Heong Yuen Bakery are two household names in Macau.
