Nine beautiful places for Chinese blockbusting movies
Crouching Tiger,
Hidden Dragon--
Bamboo Sea
People may
still remember the successful Oscar hit, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" from
2001. The fight scene that took place in the Bamboo Sea," drew great praise.
The Bamboo Sea stretches across Changning County and Jiang'an County of Sichuan
Province .It was listed as a national beauty spot by the State Council in
1988. There are above 30 kinds of bamboo such as Nan, concave, and many others
present in the area. It extends more than 500 mountain ridges and is luxuriantly
green, especially in summer. Different bamboo have various figures, some slim
and graceful like young girls, while some are straight and pretty.
Hero-- Jiuzhaigou
This film is a real "
hero" at the box office, but what really remains for audiences is perhaps the
beautiful scenery in Jiuzhaigou.
Jiuzhaigou, one of the country's best
keep natural reserves is located in Western China. Various fight scenes in the
film " Hero," in particular the most memorable fighting filmed under the
Nuorilang Water Falls, were shot there.
Two women in red clothes flying and dancing in the air with yellow leave
everywhere; two men passing over the mirror like lake, gently and swiftly ¡
almost everyone who saw the film will remember those splendid and peerless
scenes.
Those beautiful landscapes were shot at Jiuzhaigou's
Jianzhu Hai (Bamboo Lake), which is six meters deep, and covers an area of 170
thousand square meters. Along the lakeside, bamboo is green and firs stand
erect. Reflected in the lake are hills appear to undulate and bamboo sways. Even
in the severe cold, the lake glistens and is full of vitality.
