 Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon-- Bamboo Sea



People may still remember the successful Oscar hit, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" from 2001. The fight scene that took place in the Bamboo Sea," drew great praise.

The Bamboo Sea stretches across Changning County and Jiang'an County of Sichuan Province .It was listed as a national beauty spot by the State Council in 1988. There are above 30 kinds of bamboo such as Nan, concave, and many others present in the area. It extends more than 500 mountain ridges and is luxuriantly green, especially in summer. Different bamboo have various figures, some slim and graceful like young girls, while some are straight and pretty.

 Hero-- Jiuzhaigou


This film is a real " hero" at the box office, but what really remains for audiences is perhaps the beautiful scenery in Jiuzhaigou.

Jiuzhaigou, one of the country's best keep natural reserves is located in Western China. Various fight scenes in the film " Hero," in particular the most memorable fighting filmed under the Nuorilang Water Falls, were shot there.

Two women in red clothes flying and dancing in the air with yellow leave everywhere; two men passing over the mirror like lake, gently and swiftly ¡­ almost everyone who saw the film will remember those splendid and peerless scenes.

Those beautiful landscapes were shot at Jiuzhaigou's Jianzhu Hai (Bamboo Lake), which is six meters deep, and covers an area of 170 thousand square meters. Along the lakeside, bamboo is green and firs stand erect. Reflected in the lake are hills appear to undulate and bamboo sways. Even in the severe cold, the lake glistens and is full of vitality.
