 Bombax Cloth

The technique of fabricating bombax cloth comes from humans utilizing what nature offered in a primitive age about 3000 years ago. Peeling bark from trees, soaking, pestling, rubbing, washing, drying and other procedures have to be undergone before finishing a piece of clothing. Bombax cloth could be made into caps, kerchiefs, waistbands, pillowcases, footwear, dresses, bed mattresses, etc.

 Wedding customs

According to Li customs, children should leave their parents to live alone in "longgui" at the age of 13. Boys have to build their own cottages, while girls' are constructed with parents' help. Longgui is a place where boys and girls meet and often fall in love.
