Mural paintings in Sanqing Hall are considered the most beautiful. They cover
an area of 400-odd square meters, with 4.26 meters in height and 94.68 meters in
length. This group of mural paintings, completed in 1325, highlights the Taoist
rite where Heavenly gods show respect for the Celestial King of Creation. 298
Heavenly gods line up symmetrically in four groups, looking dignified and
solemn. These gods feature large sizes, with the main gods as tall as 2.85
meters and heavenly ladies as tall as 1.95 meters.
